Sparkie’s Farm is owned by Errol Walter, and is one of the prominent farms in Cayman. The farm is located in East End. You can find Sparkie’s at the George Town Market Fridays and Saturdays, from as early as 7am. Sparkies is also at Camana Bay on Wednesdays. Sparkie’s stand is located just beside Zippy’s trailer, on the south side of the pavillion, towards the cricket grounds’ building.
Whatever is in season, Sparkie’s stand is almost guaranteed to have it: cucumbers, tomatoes, many varieties of peppers, including green, hot, and Cayman season peppers, Caribbean escallion (a.k.a scallion, or green onions), eggplant, okra, cauliflower, leaf lettuces, pumpkin, bananas, plantains, mangoes, star fruit, passion fruit, cassava, watermelon, avocados, mangoes, herbs (thyme, basil, herbal teas), coconut water, mango jam, cane juice and much, much more.
Come early, as quality seasonal produce goes fast.
